At The Magical Field, there's pride in crafting enchanting spaces that resonate with dreamers and creators. What began as a simple tiny house on wheels, driven by the motto of “getting back to basics,” has blossomed into the curation of other vibrant sanctuaries for reflection, creation, and rejuvenation from The Northwoods of Wisconsin to the majestic redrocks of Sedona, Arizona.
As I reflect on this exciting journey, I am exhilarated to continue witnessing the unique design elements curated within these spaces and the spaces yet to come. Today, I’m excited to share a new development that combines my passion for surface pattern design with interior design—the launch of the MAKE SPACE FOR MAGIC collection.
The Journey of The Magical Field
Looking back, The Magical Field sprang from the idea that we all deserve A Space to Be & Love. The tiny house on wheels marked a lifestyle shift prioritizing this. For instance, by allowing ourselves to get back to basics, there's naturally more space to be present with what's loved most.
This fundamental belief has guided my design philosophy. Instead of relying on overwhelming aesthetics, there's been a motto of less being more, while bringing the outdoors in.
Over time, I've received numerous heartfelt comments expressing how these spaces have enriched the lives of both Airbnb guests and others who've expressed the desire to have their spaces curated as well. Hearing these stories fills me with excitement; they remind me that my work as an artist/designer/space curator supports a community yearning to also disconnect from the excess and rediscover connection.
